In view of the characteristics of difficult consolidation of deposits of bauxite ore and mud, the Safety and Environment Division of Changsha Institute of Technology has explored a set of mature slime wet drainage technology through years of technical accumulation and innovative attempts. With a series of technical measures such as membrane drainage, multiple seepage control, and optimized drainage systems, the safety of the wet row storage base is greatly improved. In recent years, Changsha Academy has used this series of innovative technologies to successfully build a number of large-scale wet-pool warehouses. The libraries have been put into use for many years and have been operating normally. No large-scale leakage accidents have occurred. On the basis of the experience of building sludge storage tanks in the past, the Fudan Reservoir has further improved its technical solutions and will become the first mud storage tank in China to use four sets of groundwater drainage systems.
