Object strike prevention and emergency measures

Object-strike damage is one of the four major injuries in the construction industry. The short construction period, labor, construction equipment, and materials are often used. Cross-operations often occur. This requires personnel working at heights to prevent accidents that may result in falling objects and injuries during the operation of machinery, material transfer, and tool storage.

I. Basic safety requirements for preventing objects from hitting accidents

1. The personnel must wear a helmet according to regulations when entering the construction site. The access and up and down shall be within the specified safety channel, and shall not be walked at any non-prescribed passage.

2. Double shelters should be erected above the safety channel. The materials used in the shelter should be able to prevent penetration of high-altitude falling objects.

3. Protective sheds shall be erected at the entrance and exit points of steel derricks and construction freight elevators. The length of the protective sheds shall be 0.8M above the outer edges of the steel derrick and construction freight elevators. Width: 4M shall be erected when the building height is 15M to 30M; When the building height is above 30M, build 5M; super high-rise buildings, set up 6M.

4. Asbestos tiles shall not be used for roof covering in the ceiling of temporary facilities.

5. The reserved hole with a side length less than or equal to 250 mm must be closed with a solid cover and fixed with mortar.

6. The general tool for the operation process must be placed in the tool bag. The material must not be transported downward or upward. All materials should be stacked stably and should not be placed near the edge or hole, and should not obstruct the traffic.

7. Install lifting equipment or vertical transport equipment at high altitudes, and pay attention to prevent parts from falling and hurting people.

8. The hoisting of all materials must be affixed by a person holding a certificate of employment. The bricks and other bulk materials can be lifted only after the hanging basket is installed.

9. The dismantling or dismantling work is to set up the guard area and be conducted under supervision of the person.

10. When the work is dismantled at a high place, the dismantled materials and construction waste shall be promptly cleaned up and transported, and shall not be randomly placed on the walkway or discarded downwards.

Second, emergency measures for the occurrence of object strikes

When an object strike accident occurs, the rescue focuses on the treatment of traumatic brain injury, chest fractures and bleeding sites.

1. When an object hitting accident occurs, the wounded person should be immediately organized to rescue the wounded person. The wounded condition, location and nature of the injury should be observed first. If the wounded person experiences shock, he should first deal with the shock. In cases of respiratory or cardiac arrest, artificial respiration should be performed immediately and the chest should be squeezed. The wounded in a state of shock should allow them to be quiet, warm, supine, and less active. They should raise the lower limbs by about 20 degrees and send them to the hospital for emergency treatment as soon as possible.

2. Craniocerebral injury occurs and the respiratory tract must be maintained. The coma should lie flat with the face turned to the side to prevent the tongue from falling or the secretions, vomit inhalation, and throat blockage. If there is a fracture, it should be fixed before handling. In the case of depressed bones, iii folds of men and women, serious fractures of the skull base and severe brain injury symptoms, wounds are covered with sterile gauze or a clean cloth, and after being bandaged with bandages or cloths, they are promptly sent to the nearest hospital for treatment. .
