Pro/E comprehensive skills tutorial: NGINEER is CAD/CAM software developed by American PTC Company. Pro/TOOLK99v is a software package provided by PTC for secondary development of Pro/E comprehensive skill tutorial: NGINEER. Pro/TOOLK99v provides a large number of C language functions to help us use C language programming to increase Pro/E comprehensive skills tutorial. : The function of NGINEER. In the Pro/E comprehensive skills tutorial: NGINEER's secondary development process, there are several issues worth noting (I use the Pro/E comprehensive skills tutorial: NGINEER 2000i).
1 Writing an application
The Pro/TOOLK99v application can be written in the Visual C++ environment. This application contains the functions provided by Pro/TOOLK99v. It must be compiled with the header files provided by Pro/TOOLK99v. Therefore, it must be in the Visual C++ menu "Tools". Add the following to →Options→Directories:
~/PROTOOLK99v/INCLUDES
~/PROTOOLK99v/PROTK_APPLS/INCLUDES
~/PRODEVELOP/INCLUDES
~/PRODEVELOP/PRODEV_APPLS/INCLUDES
Among them, ~ indicates Pro/E comprehensive skills tutorial: NGINEER installation path.
2 Compiling the application
Compile-through applications must also be compiled and linked (nmake) at the command prompt to generate executable .exe or .dll files.
The nmake command is provided by third-party software (Micosoft Visual C++). To use this command at the command prompt, you must register the environment variables when you install Visual C++ (the dialog box "Set environment variables" prompt when installing, select "Register environment variables"), or in Windows "Settings → Control In Panel → System → Advanced → Environment Variables → User Variables, select the variable name “path†and add “~:/Microsoft Visual Studio/VC98/bin†to the value. “~†indicates the installation path of Visual C++ (applicable to Windows 2000). Moreover, the path where the "nmake" command is run is "~/protoolkit/i486_nt/obj". In this path, there must be a make file corresponding to the C application. The command form is "nmake -f *", "* "For the corresponding make file name. The template for the make file is under "~/proe2000i/protoolkit/i486_nt/obj".
3

to run the application in Pro / E integrated skills course: running their own applications NGINEER environment, we need the Pro / E integrated skills course: to register in the program NGINEER. Registration is divided into manual registration and automatic registration. Manual registration is to select the "Utilities→Auxiliary Application" dialog box on the Pro/E comprehensive skills tutorial: NGINEER interface, load the registration file, and automatically register the following four steps.
