Plastic product output rebounded sharply

According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's plastic products production in May was 5.116 million tons, an increase of 1.79% compared with the previous period and an increase of 7.1% year-on-year. The growth rate for the three consecutive months rose. CBI Research believes that the increase in exports has boosted the output of plastic products. In June, as the weather turns hot, demand for packaging will increase, and exports will also rise steadily. The output of plastic products will increase slightly.

In May, the favorable news from Europe and the United States came out frequently. China's export of plastic products reached 815,900 tons, an increase of 6.26% compared with the previous period, and an increase of 2.24% year-on-year, which has, to a certain extent, boosted the growth of China's plastic product output. At present, the demand for plastic film has ended and the demand for greenhouse films has not yet started. The market is now in a gap of demand. As the weather turns hot, demand for beverage packaging will increase, but corporate procurement is more cautious.
