Liquefaction is an exothermic process, two ways of liquefying: lowering the temperature (all temperatures of all gases) and compression volume (some gases have a certain temperature)
Any gas can liquefy when the temperature drops low enough;
At a certain temperature, the volume of the compressed gas can also liquefy certain gases (or both).
The method of lowering the temperature is omnipotent and can be liquefied when it is low enough. However, when the volume is compressed, if the gas temperature is higher than its critical temperature, it cannot be compressed to liquefy.
Example 1: Household liquefied petroleum gas is liquefied by using a compressed gas volume at normal temperature, and stored in a steel tank, the same as a liquid lighter. Liquefied oxygen is collected according to the boiling point of the gas, and is separated after reaching various boiling points.
Example 2: The liquid fuel and oxidant on the rocket are obtained by compressing the gas volume at a relatively low temperature.
Vaporization is the reverse process of liquefaction.
An exotherm is required during liquefaction to raise the ambient air temperature.
