Japan Discovers Sugarcane Beet Can Replace Ethanol Gasoline

Researchers from the National Institute of Agriculture and Food Research in Japan said that due to the increasing fossil energy demand and the impact of climate change, it is necessary to evaluate the utilization potential of biomass energy. Researchers found that sugar cane and sugar beet are currently the most promising crops to develop into renewable bio-energy. With the further promotion of technology, biofuels extracted from these species will hopefully replace ethanol gasoline.
