Energy Plant and Liquid Fuel Utilization New Technologies

The project has established a resource bank for energy plant resources. Screened 1-3 years of harvestable ramie, green jade tree, Jatropha curcas, as well as 5 to 7 years of harvesting the light skin tree, tung tree and other excellent fast-growing high-yield energy tree species.

Twelve high provenances and 19 clones were screened out from the oil plants such as green jade tree, glossy bark, ramie, and jatropha. Using green eucalyptus as a test material, biotechnology breeding was carried out by means of molecular markers, cold-resistance gene introduction and ploidy breeding, and tetraploids and transgenic plant materials with high production of alkanes were obtained. And research and development of biomass liquid fuel oil, physical methods - green eucalyptus milk production of alkanes and enol liquid biomass fuel oil, has achieved results. Chemical methods - Biodiesel production from oil-fat swapping of woody oil plants containing triglycerides. Developed a small continuous process to produce biodiesel with an annual output of 600 tons.
