Railway logistics transportation has low energy consumption and large transportation volume. Chen Lijia said that compared with pure road transportation, railway transportation can achieve complete loading and returning, and reduce air pollutant emissions while reducing large transportation costs.
At present, the park has already started exporting goods from Linyi to Moscow, Central Europe, Linyi to Huangdao Port, and Rizhao Port. Chen Lijia told reporters that in the next step, the Logistics Park will successively operate 10 domestic trains, such as Linyi to Dalang (Guangzhou), Wangjiaying (Kunming) and Chengxiang (Chengdu), to build a multi-point direct fast freight train network. From the perspective of unit cargo turnover, the road transportation energy consumption and pollutant emissions are 7 times and 13 times that of railway transportation respectively.
